Trash Rake

Dust captured by the fixed bar screen is scooped up by a rake basket suspended by a wire rope and collected on the floor. A single rake basket moves back and forth upstream of the fixed bar screen, making it suitable for water intakes where the amount of trash is small but relatively large trash particles that cannot be collected by hand flow into the intake. The machine is available in stationary and Travelling types, and all mechanical parts are located on the floor for easy maintenance. The machine is operated while monitoring the trash condition, so manual operation is the basic method of operation.
