UBE MACHINERY Delivers Die Casting Machine for Giga Casting to Toyota Motor Corporation

UBE MACHINERY CORPORATION, Ltd. (President: Kazuhisa Hata; Headquarters: Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture; hereinafter “UBE MACHINERY”), the core company of the UBE Group’s machinery business, is pleased to announce that it has received an order for a 9,000-ton Die Casting machine from Toyota Motor Corporation (President: Kenta Kon; Headquarters: Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture; hereinafter “Toyota”) and successfully completed delivery in March 2025. This machine features the largest clamping force delivered for a Die Casting machine in Japan.

UBE MACHINERY offers a lineup of Die Casting machines with clamping forces of up to 9,000 tons, compatible with Giga Casting, a Die Casting technology that enables the integrated molding of aluminum-alloy structural body components, primarily for battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Through these products, the company continues to contribute to the transformation of the automotive industry.

With this delivery, UBE MACHINERY has established a track record of receiving orders from domestic manufacturers for 9,000-ton, 6,500-ton, and 4,500-ton Die Casting machines compatible with Giga Casting applications.
