UBE Machinery Expands Lineup of Ultra-Large Die Casting Machines for Giga Casting Applications

UBE Machinery Corporation, Ltd. (President: Hironori Miyauchi; Head Office: Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture), the core company of the UBE Group's machinery business, has recently expanded its lineup of die casting machines that can perform giga casting — a die casting technology that integrally molds body structure parts for battery electric vehicles (BEVs), etc., using aluminum alloy.

The expanded lineup includes two new models: the UH7300, with a clamping force of 7,300 metric tons; and the UH4500, with a clamping force of 4,500 metric tons. Together with the UH9000, launched in August 2024, the company now offers a full range of die casting machines with clamping forces ranging from 4,500 to 9,000 metric tons, meeting a wide variety of customer needs. ■Giga casting
