UBE Group Basic Policies for Sustainability
The UBE Group lives up to its founding spirit and corporate philosophy by pursuing Group sustainability through its business activities. Message
Based on the founding spirit of "co-existence and co-prosperity, from finite mining to infinite industry" as the basis of our management, we have been committed to the development of the community and society through providing superior products and services that take into consideration the environment and life cycles. At the base of this commitment is our desire to achieve the SDGs for the global environment, society at large, and the company as a whole, while establishing corporate governance and other social responsibilities as a company. We have taken the opportunity of our name change to UBE Machinery Co., Ltd. in 2022 to develop our management philosophy and management policies, and have now established the Purpose. This is where we declare our first priority is to care for the global environment and state our desire to contribute to the future of society by meeting the challenges of our customers and other stakeholders. As the word "corporation" implies, we believe that a company is required to engage in activities that create economic value, as well as to be committed to society through its corporate character. We will contribute to the sustainability of society, the company, and the global environment by constantly pursuing these two aspects.
