The 1st ADSTEFAN Technical Seminar took place at the Queen's Park Hotel in
Bangkok, Thailand on August 23, where, UBE presented casting simulation system
so called
"ADSTEFAN", which works for solution of casting defects, and demonstrated flow analysis case studies.
Professor Takateru Umeda from Chulalongkorn University, that has the longest history in Thailand, lectured about "Casting circumstances in
Thailand" and Mr. Pirakit, a researcher of the National Metal and Materials Technology Center also lectured about "What is required for Thailand in the future through my eyes having training in Japan for 2 years" and their lectures were a great draw for participants.
The participants were more than 50 peoples, much more than we expected. We realized afresh that they are highly interested in Casting
CAE.
We are confident the participants could realize that ADSTEFAN is a great tool that find opportune direction on the manufacturing field. |
